anna deonanan fine art

welcome
I begin a painting with bold lines intersecting and extending off the ends of the canvas. My work is primarily in oils, with some experimentation in combining acrylics and other mediums. Using impasto techniques, I paint in a direct, alla prima and expressionistic style with the intent of creating an unexpected interest to a potential viewer. Both representational and interpretive, my paintings are
consistently active and heavily influenced by my years in Asia and surrounding travels. I wholeheartedly challenge myself to use all past education and career experiences in my art. Thank you for visiting.
